Site Manager – Major Infrastructure Project (Inverness)

6pm to 6am. shift pattern.

An established Tier 1 civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team on a high-profile infrastructure road in the Highlands. This is a great opportunity to play a key role on a long-term civils roads project that will enhance resilience across the regional network.
The Role
You will lead on the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme. This position suits a proactive Site Agent with strong experience in civil engineering and the confidence to oversee multiple work fronts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage on-site operations, subcontractors and workforce activities
Oversee progress, quality and compliance with project specifications
Ensure the highest standards of health & safety are maintained
Coordinate daily planning, RAMS, permits and site paperwork
Report programme and productivity to the Project Manager
Maintain effective communication across site teams and stakeholders
Requirements
CSCS and SMSTS (essential)
Street Works ticket (essential)
Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer on civils projects
Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage complex work scopes to tight timescales
Available for an immediate start

The scheme involves a significant package of civil engineering works within an roads infrastructure environment. Activity includes civil construction, groundworks, and roadworks.
