e are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Setting Out Site Engineer to oversee construction and engineering projects at our 20 million pound project in Kingston Upon Thames. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in engineering and electrical experience to contribute to complex projects within a dynamic environment. The Site Engineer will work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Monitor progress and quality of work, providing technical guidance and support where necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all site operations.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and project flow.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
Assist in planning project timelines, resource allocation, and procurement processes.
Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues or hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
Oversee electrical installations and ensure they meet regulatory standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role within the construction or engineering sector.
Strong electrical experience is highly desirable.
Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., BSc in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering).
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites.
Ability to read technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
